Program Breakdown
The MFA in Acting at the University of Georgia is designed to provide each student with a strong set of acting tools that can be used whether performing on stage or in front of the camera. The majority of our foundational actor training draws on Stanislavski-based techniques, including the Method of Physical Action, Meisner technique, and Michael Chekhov technique, supplemented by approaches such as improvisation, Alexander, Linklater, and solo performance.
